The “Gift an Organ” campaign is an awareness drive initiated by CII-Young Indians in 2016 to promote organ donation across India. In the 2021 Coimbatore chapter, I was entrusted with the campaign’s visual identity, creating a suite of digital and print collateral to raise awareness and promote participation. My responsibilities involved coordinating the marketing efforts, designing engaging visuals, and collaborating with local authorities to ensure the campaign’s success. This experience not only introduced me to the world of volunteerism but also helped me hone my design and communication skills in a real-world setting. The campaign has been recognized for its impact in educating the public about organ donation and dispelling myths around the subject.
